today is fellow med mate Michael Su's 20th birthday. He was recounting his early morn birthday surprise to me. He had 10 pplambush his house and surprise him. And they bought the stickiest sticky date cake for him.Cos Aussie tradition is that if the birthday boy/girl cuts the cake and there is cake crumbs on the knife after the first incision, then he/.she has to kiss a person of the opp sex. So the sticky cake obviously had so much cake...Micheal decribed it as " lifting the whole cake up when he tried to pull the knife out". So he kissed Dushi....haha. too bad i wasnt there:(

then lect today at the DMB, next to the beach, some peeps after lect went to the beach. really loved the case presentation of the depressed/bipolar pt whom the Dr brought from the mental hosp just up the road. so cool. But as she told her story, I was just horrified to learn how pple could grow up in an env totally opp of mine. her parents, family, genetics.

I could have been her.
