monday's tute at the mater Hosp was good. Dr Parson is a neurologist and is really good. Or rather i think he is good cos he knows more than me?! So we had so many jokes in tute. Can't remember any. Wish I did though cos they are ridiculously funny. Oh....like the Saddle dermatomes on the butt. They are S2-S5 i think. I asked how to test for them. Chris did not know what the saddle thing was so said that the patient sits on a horse saddle to test for them or we sit on the patient!!!ok, non-med pple might not find it funny. then it was time infront of a pt with a stroke. and the patient(a man) said " i prefer a female to examine me" So me being female, was picked by dr Parson to do a lower limb neurological exam. Knew nothing abt it and was glad i knew some basic muscle gps from last year. so we tested power in the muscle gps and Chipo asks " Its hard for a girl to RESIST him, so what do we do?" It took me a while to get the pun, but yeah, super funny. Well....Dr P showed us how to make use of the lever thing to exert more force to resist the muscles. and i did tendon jerk on ankles and knee and was overly excited when i managed to elicit a response. Dr P said he had never seen someone so excited abt something like that b4!

sat night dinner was good. could not stop laughing the whole time. my frens were just funny all the time. And made me cry so much, choked on some food too. then flavian satyed behind to help me wash up. and since he was wearing a white shirt, he could not di anything. so stood there, watching me clean everything up. and somehow called me "jia zua" meaning eat snake, saying i was idol (hope i got that meaning right) then, whilst saying that he was literally eating these candy snakes. he was the one eating snakes!

anyway, this weeks prob is parkinson's disease. SO much to do. STRESS. Phuong was saying, this is the most she as ever studied. I think me too.....and it will get worse.sigh.
