Yesterday was my 1st ever city to surf. 63000 fun runners/walkers. Nic claims its the biggest fun run in the world. So we started in Sydney city then ran 14km to the world famous Bondi beach. Good weather. Happy moments that made this run more enjoyable
1. children spraying their garden hose at you.

2. bands playing music on roof tops and at bus stops

3. random Singapore guy comes up to me and aks if i am from Singapore( i was wearing the hc pe t-shirt) then we talk for the last 5km. if not for him, i would not have finished the run! talking to Issac made the run past so much faster.

really happy to stay at nic's place as well. seeing his parents nag his bro, Ally and Ally telling his parents to stop fussing over him made me laugh cos it reminded me so much of home. And Ally is just like Penny!!! he keeps moonth-old sandwiches his mum makes him under his bed. and they are not even touched! it is so bad it has gotten past the smell-bad stage. she was cleaning his room and found like 10 sandwiches there. So yeah, penny, u have another half on the other side of the world. And as i thanked nic's parents for their ospitality, they were happy to hear my unique laughter and enjoy Robyn's cooking. Its so funny. I will ask Robyn what she added in the food and Guy will start asking her on my behalf the exact details for the recepie.....
