UPDATES

1. Gold Coast brought Hilda and me closer. so glad to be there with a fren. neva would i sit on those scarry rides w/o a fren there to go through it with you. we did crazy stuff like being the only adults going for the Wiggles ride, singing along and doing the actions in the big red car. also going hysterical when we saw spongebob square pants, rugrats characters and jimmy neutron. totally wild i'd say. unforgettable rides were giant drop(drop 119 metres from baove free fall), tower of terror(going up 90 degrees to the ground) and log ride where in the cold rain, we were splashed with more water, totally drenched and cold for the next few hours. ran along the beach for an hour on day 2 and kept looking at all the tall building by the beach. day 3 walked with hilda on the sand barefooted. so relaxing. day 1 we went to shopping centres. but i felt so bored. EXCEPT when we were in toys r us at pacific fair. We were wild again. taking pics with childhood toys. So fun! o, day 2 dinner was fish and chips at the mall by the beach. and i was still freezing from the splash from the log ride.

oh, and how to forget day 0 at Hilda Aunt's place in Burwood, Syd. had lovely chinese food for dinner. then both of us squeezing on a single bed. had to slp so still. and Hilda claims i stole all the blanket....

2. went to Andy's house in bulladelah, 1 hr away from newcastle. he has this farm with cows. such a big house, like 5 bed rooms, 2 stories, with a lake in the backyard with a swing to jump in and a diving board to dive into the lake. had a lovely run round the hills. saw so many stars last nite. there was a bonfire outside too...with roasted marshmellows and a good aussie dinner of bbq steak, sauges and garlic bread.

3. Went out with Nic and Steph(his sis) tonite to Andy's restaurant, where he waiters. had char kway teow and prawns and duck!!!!!that was so good. Then while killing time for the bus, went into the nearby pub for a drink of toohey's new beer.
