glenrock beach

today was an exciting day at the beach with chara and hilda. started out at 9am, where we spent an hour trying to fix our bikes: gears and other adjustments. so at 10.10am, we cycled along cycle paths, roads and roads with cycle lanes to glenrock forest. there, we were lost but thankfully met pple along the way to give us directions. parked the bikes at a tree(hoped they did not do tree-cutting today), then hiked 1.5km in the trails to the beach, where there was a lagoon as well. i just jumped into the ocean, with my clothes on and chara slpet on the sand. Hilda helped to take some pics. we spent a lot of time taking my dream shot: sand flying in the air, with the waves in the backgd. I think it is still not perfect, but had to leave the beach to go home. it took us 2 hours to reach the beach from home. walking back to the bikes was so much faster. And on the way back, we made a detour to kotara shopping centre, where we bought tons of groceries....whichc filled my basket to the brim. then, cycled back home. totally exhausted now, but happy we had a great time with our cycle adventure...

funny thing is that when i came back to my room to shower, a whole pile of sand just fell to my floor. so have to vacumn now:(

yeah, reached home at 4pm. so long day!
